We’re still in a haze over here at Bad Manners HQ from all the festivities surrounding Hungry as Hell. Thank you to everyone who grabbed a copy, cooked a recipe, shared on social, or just told their friends. We really appreciate it.
Just a reminder of the event over at Stacks Book Club in Tucson tonight from 6-8 pm. Come say hi and support local booksellers that are keeping the soul of this industry alive.
This week I’m keeping it short and sweet. In addition to all the great recipes over on our Beastless Feasts page, I wanted to share my favorite cookie recipe from last year’s Broiler Room. These Meyer lemon crinkle cookies are delicious and look fancy as hell. If you can’t think of anything else to bring to a holiday party this year, just whip up a tray of these and you’ll have more friends than you’ve ever wanted. Which might be a point against these cookies if you like to keep your friendship bench *light*. Next week I’ll be back to our regular programming but until then, I’ll see you in the kitchen.
This is my favorite cookie ever. After the first time I made them last winter I learned that sharing is overrated. YUM.
I have a potentially annoying question, but I promise it’s because I am making them for someone with a medical condition--do you think I can use Bob’s red mill gluten free flour in these?
