How has no one ever mentioned the tourist traps?! Itβs one of my favorite things about that book! π that and Dan Dan noodles, changed my fucking life!!
I know, I know: Iβm so pedestrian, BUT...what if I added a little cocoa powder to these? Youβll probably say I should just try the recipe the way itβs written first, and youβd be 100% right...Go ahead and tell me
lololol, I would never. Iβm pedestrian by nature and bougie by choice. My advice would be to keep the recipe as is but add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder along with the powdered sugar. Any more than that and youβll have to start messing with ration of dry and wet ingredients to make sure you keep a fudge-like texture. But if you know your shit and are good with that sort of cooking by feel, you can totally pull it off. Report your findings back please
LOL--bougie by choice! BBC. Love it!! Ok, I also need Medjool dates, so as soon as I get them, Iβll try and report back! (I just inherited a Breville food processor, and THIS will be my maiden voyage. So excited!) π
π I have a weakness for merch (which could also be put on merch). Because I currently live in the Ozarks, I think a BBC T-shirt would go over very well here (just like my Republic of California hat, ohhhh they just LOVE that).

You literally the first person! The Dan Dan noodles are something special. One of my favorites for sure

A breville?! Iβm extremely jealous. Also we need to get BBC on some merch asap lol

The Breville was heaven, the fudge (with cocoa, canβt wait to try without, too) was divine, and I made a BBC logo! Thanks for the pro tips!!
I gotta see this logo
Ok, now I know I need a copy of Fast as Fuck.
I have no dates. I'm thinking that's kinda critical to the success of the fudge amirite?
Make sure theyβre medjool dates. You wonβt regret getting them. Theyβre one of my favorite snacks!
So good right? Iβm spoiled by great dates in Southern California.
Yeah theyβre sorta central unfortunately
I'm off to the store!
