Wow! I made these for “breakfast” this morning and they are delicious!! I didn’t have any cranberries so I just put in extra pecans-which are my favorite! I’ll definitely make these often! I might even try them with the cranberries and ginger 😂
Always cast blame as far from your skills as possible. Ankles don't define us, unless they betray us in public. Think of some of the entrances on late night shows where stars tripped on the top step before thousands of of viewers.

I sprained mine in October after being only 3 weeks out of a cast for fracturing my heel. Hot mess express over here. Anyhow, I'm going to try this with GF flour. I make a similar cookie from Shalane Flanagan's cook book, but I would like to mix it up a bit.

If I used instant oats instead of rolled oats, would that affect my batter and consistency? Mine were kind of sticky and runny too.
Random Q: why do some cookie recipes call for the dough to be chilled for 30+ minutes before baking, and others don’t?
I just made these and the dough was super sticky not crumbly. I made some adjustments and I think they turned out OK.
