Happy October to all you wonderful people! Hit that ❤️ if you’re loving this new season too. That’s right, autumn has officially arrived and we’re inching closer to the release to our newest (and best?!) cookbook Hungry as Hell: Meals to Live By, Flavors to Die For on October 31. Want an advanced copy? Well guess what, we’re giving away 5 advanced copies to help get y’all excited. Just go HERE, enter your info, and wait for fate to deliver an early copy right to your doorstep. Are you feeling lucky?
For those of you who’ve already preordered the new book, don’t forget to download a copy of our free ebook The Hungry Remix: How to Cook Forever. Enter your pre order info on our site and the ebook will automatically download to your device. We wish it would automatically download dinner for you too but alas, the tech just isn’t there. We’re stuck with AI that’s ripping off our cookbooks instead of replicators. Le sigh.
Speaking of dinner, we’ve got a surprise for you. This week I’ve compiled some of my favorite fall recipes from The Broiler Room and our site to help you plan out all your upcoming meals. No paywalls, no problems. I want all of you cooking as many delicious homemade meals and snacks as possible regardless of income. We’re all fucking exhausted, everything costs a billion dollars, and the weather is trying to kill us more than usual. A delicious, homemade dinner will at least take the edge off while we all figure out where to place our rage.
Gooey Grilled Cheese with Roasted Tomato Soup
Wild Rice and Peanut Ginger Pilaf
Once November rolls around, we’ll have our Beastless Feast meal and recipe guide up like we do every year but we’re not stopping there. I’ve also got 4 brand-new recipes planned to freshen up your Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, and holiday spreads from appetizers all the way to desserts. Sharpen those knives now because we’re hitting you with killer recipes and general mayhem until the new year. Hungry as hell yet? Us too.
Fellow Broiler Heads, do not sleep on the Lasagna Stew!!! It’s unbelievably good. Probably my favorite newsletter recipe.
I loved it from the first bite, and when I had 75% of my liver chopped off earlier this Spring, I swear it was a freezer full of that stew (and Bad Manners veggie pot pies) that nursed me back to health.
Hey Michelle funny story, it’s a little off topic but the other day I made the date sauce from rolling with the dates as I was preparing it I couldn’t resist chomping down on one of the Medjool dates I bought. Well in my zeal to devour that plump delicious date, I completely forgot the pit inside almost breaking a tooth. But the date sauce was good. Kitchen mishaps lol!
