Driving up and down the California coast is our favorite thing to do. I could literally drive the stretch from morro bay to Big Sur back and forth forever and never want to be anywhere else. Recent finds include a little spot in Pismo Beach (middle of nondescript parking lot) serving delicious vegan bowls. Called Why Not? (Seriously. Shitty restaurant name, great food).

I could not care less about most people's reflections *HOWEVER* I always Always ALWAYS love everything you both write here. It's always so interesting, and yes, the damn fine food doesn't hurt either LOL

I always love telling that story because fast as fuck was a Christmas gift from my daughter because after 36 years of railroading and working a gross amount of hours I retired and wasn’t feeling great. So I was looking for a better way to eat and fast as fuck got me there. The book was so well used that not only were pages falling out but the pages were so stained from my messy cooking! Lol

Great article Matt. I recently had to order a new copy of fast as fuck as the pages were falling out of my original book. I noticed that the great photos you took for the book were just popping from the pages of the new one. Fast as fuck was the first book I got then I purchased the rest, in, inverse order lol. But it is one of my favourites. Also you write about Valley fever today on the Canadian news site CBC news there is an article about, valley fever. Weird huh?
Fast as fuck is my favorite book... because it’s full of noods!!! But I wouldn’t give up any of them. Super pumped for the new book ❤️

Also, my 1 year old loves the illustration at the front. When I pull it out for meal planning we chat about all the picture.

Coccidioidomycosis (AKA Valley Fever) can also cause lifelong disability and/or death. Glad your case was milder than mine.
