I always feel so much smarter after reading these newsletters! And on a side note, this guy did grow up in a little beach town in NW FL so my name suits me well! 🌴🌊⛱

Perfect timing! I have peaches from my CSA box that I need to use up. I was sitting on my email waiting for this today. Gotta pick up some fresnos, and this is going in the pot today! 🔥 🍑 🌶

I know this might be frowned upon, but can stevia be used as a sugar substitute or part substitute? I would love to make some of these jams, but I don't want to eat that much sugar. I also want to make it for my granddaughter and her mother is restrictive of her sugar. She's two and adorable, by the way.

And on another note, I just LOVE you guys and all the information (and yummy recipes of course) y'all share with us!

unfortunately, the sugar is there as a thickener and a preservative so stevia just wont cut it. ive already cut down the sugar a bunch from typical jam but if it's still too much I think you guys might have to wait until apple butter season to make stuff to eat together. Im sure she'll be just as adorable and grateful for the treats come Fall
