Ok i was going to be annoying and ask if I could sub cornmeal for almond meal cause I don’t have almond meal at home and I love me a cornmeal cake!!! Thoughts?
i love a corn cake too. if you do a finer grind like corn flour it should be good. if you're doing a coarser grind, do 1/2 cup cornmeal and the remaining 1/4 cup ap flour
I didn’t have almond extract, almond flour, or poppyseeds, but I had blueberries, and homemade blueberry syrup. Used the syrup to make a glaze and folded in the blueberries. Thanks for the recipe maybe I will follow the directions next time. Because of you I had my cake and ate it too. Looks delicious. Grandma doesn’t know I took her bundt pan ope!😂

yessssss. this is a super forgiving recipe and most subs work out just fine. but that blueberry glaze?! damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. i want it.

yup, just sub ap flour 1:1 and add an extra tablespoon of oil to the recipe. won't be a problem at all
