I have read it cover to cover and I'm super excited to get into it. I'm making Sunday beans tomorrow to get my food prep for the week started. Do you ever fuck with the instant pot? How might I adapt that recipe for that appliance?

I held out forever for that same reason, but man, I use it a ton. I'm checking an air fryer out of the library (Kalamazoo Public Library has a Library of Things) and I'm skeered I'll want one of those too.

NEVER cool it on the book promo. We love you and your book. I FINALLY GOT MINE (“finally”- it arrived three days after it was released). It’s gorgeous!! Thank you for all you gave that we’ll never know about (scene with Jerry Maguire and Rod Tidwell in the bathroom comes leaping to mind). I’m excited to read the Substack interview because the title went STRAIGHT to my heart. I’m humbled, grateful, and hungry as hell.

I was waiting for the shipment from Bookshop but I mailed it to my daughter my mistake. She loves to cook so no problem. I ordered a replacement copy today. Can't wait. Love that all your recipes use real food and no subs.

I love the Beastless Feasts collection, but, alas, not all the recipes open for me. The ones that don't ask me to sign in, which I do because I am a member, but they still won't open. Instead they ask me to sign in again. Cranberry corn spoonbread is one that I can't retrieve and it's killing me!

So I have all of your books but am clearly a dunce. I can’t find the recipe for date caramel that isn’t the cinnamon bun filling. Is it the same but just no cinnamon? Doh. Thanks. Bought dates at Costco and need caramel just from the Rollin up headline!!
