I switched to cloth napkins when my partner and I moved into a new house. So glad I made the switch. Also reusable pads for skin care have been a game changer recently. I don't have enough so I am also going to take an old t-shirt and cut it up into small rounds.

Cutting up old t-shirts in a great tip!

When my dad died in 2008, I took his tons of cotton t-shirts home and sliced them into wash cloth and handkerchief sizes and use them for twice-a-day for face rinsing (followed by moisturizer), application of cheap white Heinz vinegar from Costco (a great sub for deodorant; it WORKS), small clean-ups, and more. Use each once, hang to dry, and put in a whites only laundry bag. When I wash my face after using makeup, I use a terry wash cloth and coconut oil. Cloth only for napkins. Haven't bought paper towel in maybe 30 years. Haven't bought tissues in 15 years. Have tons of kitchen towels and cloths. Use terry wash cloth for patting dry after bidet. Do laundry every 2 weeks, and each load has more towels and cloths than clothing! Use 2 or 3 rolls of TP per year for company.
